I measured each battery of the four I have in series and noted the differences. Then I connected this unit to them and left it for a day. When I checked next, they were all within .01 volt. Note: when measuring the battery voltage, touch the copper terminal and not the connecting bolt. While modern bells and whistles calling for a display screen and battery selector would be an awesome feature, I am happy that this little box does the job.
